Motivation
This course encourages participants to develop an idea of something that they would like to achieve or do. They may already have some thoughts or may be floundering with how to spend their time. Once an idea has been developed, the course will assist participants to acquire necessary skills to execute a plan.
Sometimes clients may have an idea of something that they would like to do, but family or carers are questioning whether it is realistic. By supporting the person to develop and execute their idea, everybody may come to understand ways that it may be achievable.

It may include topics such as:
-
identifying what it is they want to do
-
time management-using alarms and calendars
-
organisation
-
planning and sequencing
-
prioritisation
-
problem solving when things don’t go according to plan.
