
Numeracy Skills
These courses are designed for adults who are experiencing some challenges developing numeracy skills. Perhaps they have a disability that is affecting their numeracy skills, have a diagnosed learning difficulty or simply need a little extra help to develop arithmetic, money handling or budgeting skills .

Numeracy Building Blocks
This course is for people who need extra support to develop foundational numeracy skills. Topics covered might include:

Developing number sense: number recognition, counting and place value

Developing a vocabulary of numerical concepts

Simple addition and subtraction skills

Developing knowledge of geometrical properties

Exploring patterns and relationships

Introduction to concepts such as measurement, time and money

Numeracy Fundamentals
This course is for those who have an understanding of numbers and are still developing skills with applying mathematical concepts . Topics covered might include:

Developing confidence, speed and automaticity with performing mathematical functions with whole numbers

Multiplication and division

Problem solving

Developing skills with concepts such as measurement, time and money

Working with fractions, decimals and percentages

Numeracy for Life
This course is suited to individuals who have acquired some numeracy skills and now need to learn how to use these skills in everyday life. Topics covered may include:

budgeting

money management.
